 SWITCH FUNCTION MULTIPLEXER

I bracket race.   I race to win - I win my share and more!

Here is one of Tim's Tips - TO AVOID MISTAKES - SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY SIMPLIFY!

Why? - How do you like kicking yourself all the way home?

You've seen the setup where the transbrake is disabled with a toggle switch, so you can use your line lock to burn out. Maybe your's is setup that way. Then you have to flip the switch back to launch the car. I know many racer's who've had that set up - and every one of them forgot to flip the switch sometime and lost a race or two - every season.

The Switch Function Multiplexer eliminates that stupid switch. You have two buttons. One operates the line lock only - for burn outs. The other button operates the line lock and all the  other gear you wish; i.e. a transbrake, a recording tach, a two step, a data acquisition system or anything else.

WIN MORE RACES

Here's how I've set up my '67 Nova bracket racer -->

My burn out button is on the shift handle. The burnout button only activates the line lock.

The Terminator button activates  the line lock, as well as the transbrake, the two step, the recording tach and the data acquisition system.

Before I had a transbrake, I used a front and rear line lock to hold the car at the line and launch with the Terminator button. The Terminator button controlled both line locks as well as the two step, the recording tach and  data acquisition system.

The burnout button only activated the front line lock.

The burn out button can be a toggle switch  - some people prefer that. But once it's released you still use the other button to launch the car. You'll never make a mistake.
