1974 BMW R75/6 Motorcycle

Pampered survivor in very good condition!

  -SOLD-

DESCRIPTION and SPECIFICATIONS: GO 2 PICS
Pampered survivor in very good condition. I bought it in 1975. I've ridden this bike all over the country and it has never let me down. Stories to tell.

It is located in Anaheim Hills (southern) California.
DETAILS:
Black paint with white pin striping - all original and really very nice and shiny.
61K miles ( the odometer says 71K but that's because the idiot that repaired the speedometer ten years ago had potatoes growing in his ears. Anyhow, what's the difference. No - I'm not angry)
  Vetter Windjammer fairing
  • Black with white pin striping, in fair condition.
  • Stewart Warner Marine ammeter and voltmeter
  • Replacement +5 wind screen
  • Headlight vertical adjustment knob
Original tool kit and owners manual included
  Headlight safety flasher
Cylinder crash guards with highway pegs.
Heavy duty stainless steel rear spokes

New front brakes. Rear brakes are fine.
Bates saddle bags and trunk in good condition. The trunk lid is a little faded.
Reynolds ride off stand - stainless steel.
  New tires and front brakes.
Burglar alarm with motion sensor, seat level switch and battery backup.
  Stainless steel mufflers.
  Fairly new battery
Padded sissy bar (but my wife's not a sissy)
  Turn signal reminder beeper.
Wired for 27 MHz citizens band two way radio. 2 antennas included.

OK - It's not perfect. I said pampered, not pristine. The push rod tube seals are seeping a little oil - not very BMW like. It's an easy and cheap fix but I'm not riding much anymore so I don't feel like changing them. The front brakes are weak because the new pads not yet broken in. One fairing lower has a burn mark and the other has a repaired crack.
