Foot brake racers have ruled KOH for almost a year now. Is that all about to end?

Hugo Casal, aka **Box Boy, will wear the crown until next week. Hugo took out Kenny Snow in the final. Good job Hugo.

Two barrel racing sucks.

I ran the Barry Grant double pumper on 2 barrels, attempting to slow it down to 7.50 for Sportsman racing. ET's were all over the map – 7.72 to 7.82 in time trials. Then it went a tenth quicker in KOH and I broke out of coarse. That’s a tenth after dumping too!

The data shows I was too lean on two barrels. Maybe that’s why it was so inconsistent. A/F ratio was 16 throughout the run – Ouch!! Real good for the motor.

Traction is a challenge on two barrels too. Doesn’t hit the tires hard and fast enough.

This weekend I’ll continue tuning the Quick Fuel 1050 carb – hope to race it soon. Maybe PSCA at Fontana.

Only two more Thursdays’ to experiment with “slow down” ideas before the first Summit race. Quack Quack!
