The car is now running to fast for the Sportsmen class in the Summit Series.

I slowed it down for race one with a stiffer vacuum secondary spring. That worked well.

This new idea is to limit the secondary butterfly's travel with a throttle stop.

It is  simply a bracket bolted to the carb stud. The bent end is to stop the secondaries from opening all the way.

The bracket is slotted so the butterfly travel can be adjusted. It is shown above in the  completely retracted position;i.e. full power.
