The car is now running to
fast for the Sportsmen class in the Summit Series.
I slowed it down for race one with a stiffer vacuum secondary spring. That worked well. This new idea is to limit the secondary butterfly's travel with a throttle stop. It is simply a bracket bolted to the carb stud. The bent end is to stop the secondaries from opening all the way. |

The bracket is slotted so the butterfly travel can be adjusted. It is shown above in the completely retracted position;i.e. full power. |
