The AutoMeter electric oil pressure gauge cost me a bunch of dough.

It  intermittently went south three times in the 18 months I had it on the Nova. It finally croaked well beyond the 1 year warranty period.

I made my case, to AutoMeter  with a strongly worded letter, and they sent me a new one.

A blurb in the Auto Meter destructions  alluded to the delicate nature of the sending unit. So I mounted it remotely to keep it away from the engine's vibrations.

The 1/4  to 1/8 NPT  manifold is from McMaster Carr. I got a three holer because the outlets are too close together to fit two sending units side by side.

The plastic line is to the trusty $18 mechanical oil pressure gauge I got from Pep Boys. It has worked perfectly from day one.

I plumbed it to the motor with a standard -3 AN brake line from Summit.
