Eddy doesn't use computer programs - he lays the car's suspension out full scale on cardboard.

First step, after scaling my car, and analyzing my power and performance level, he pin points his IC location choice on the drawing. Then he locates the bar hole brackets as required to get the IC where he wants it.

Design first, then weld.

Eddy cut the upper most top axle hole to increase suspension travel and lower the car if necessary.
He sectioned the cross member to allow more up side suspension travel, and so he could angle the pinion down more.

Here are the IC location options before the surgery.

Note the IC length and IC height,

Inside the green box are Dave Morgan's suggestions. There are no IC choices low in the box.

This shows all the possible IC locations after surgery.

Notice how there are many more choices lower  and rearward along the neutral line.
