The Nova was throwing belts regularly for a while.

I changed the pulleys - that helped.

I changed to good Gates belts - that helped.

I over tightened the belt and used belt dressing - that helped.

I haven't thrown a belt in a long time but I've had this bracket on my To Do list forever.

 
So I finally Do'd it.

 

The alternator is rock solid now.
